Eric Rodriguez is a Certified Specialist of Wine (Society of Wine Educators), Certified Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers), Advanced Sommelier Candidate, and graduate of the Sommelier and Beer, Spirits & Coffee Diploma programs at the Asociación de Sommeliers Mexicanos. He also holds the Advanced Rioja Wine Certificate (2019). As founder of The Winellist, he develops educational content on wine, hospitality, wine service, and the business of wine, creating learning resources and educational tastings for enthusiasts and professionals. He has the privilege to serve as a judge for the annual American Fine Wine Competition in Miami.
Eric has a solid background in tech, AI and telecoms consulting, spending almost 20 years of career working in the B2B space serving enterprises in the U.S. and Latin America. He also holds an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, where he found an opportunity to connect the worlds of marketing and strategy with his passion for wine.
